The Lewmar 8' Shallow Water Anchor Cover is a fitted Sunbrella® marine-grade fabric sleeve designed for the Axis 8' and Vector 8' anchors in their retracted position. It is not a one-size accessory — it is cut for the 8-foot pole and secured with a side-release buckle rated to stay in place at highway trailering speeds.
Sunbrella fabric carries a recognized marine industry reputation for UV resistance, mold resistance, and mildew resistance in continuous saltwater and freshwater environments. The cover protects the anchor's powder-coat finish, fiberglass spike, and linkage hardware from UV degradation, salt spray deposits, and trailering debris — the three most common causes of cosmetic and surface wear between fishing seasons.
Bracket compatible. The cover slips over the anchor whether it is mounted on the Lewmar Quick Release, Jack Plate, Pontoon Deck, or Motor Mount bracket — no bracket removal required before covering. Rinse with fresh water after saltwater trips. Machine wash on gentle cycle; re-treat with 303 Fabric Guard annually to restore water repellency.
