The Lewmar Axis 8' changes that equation. A single toggle switch drops the anchor pole to 8 feet in about 8 seconds — holding your boat precisely on position in current, cross-wind, and light chop. The Axis 8' is rated for boats up to 26 ft and 4,500 lbs. The brushless 12V motor is sealed against saltwater, draws 15–20 amps during the deployment cycle, and idles at under 0.1A standby. No hydraulics, no hoses, no pump to prime on a cold morning. One switch. Full deployment. Every time.
